NET’s current new year offer is one of their most successful promotions to date as people return to more regular travel routines following the impact of COVID-19 and changes to commuting patterns.
The Annual Season Ticket deal, which offers passengers unlimited year-round travel for just £1 per day, has been snapped up in record numbers as the city centre continues to recover from the pandemic and more people are planning their household budgets during the current cost of living crisis.
This deal doesn’t only make it the most affordable public transport option for 2023 but means it is also a fifth of the price of the cheapest parking option in the city, not including the additional price of fuel.
The Annual Season Ticket includes free parking at any of the 5,000 spaces at NET’s 7 Park and Ride sites, offering motorists a more convenient, greener, and affordable way to travel compared to driving and parking in the city centre.
Alison Sweeney, Head of Marketing for NET said: “We have been delighted with the way that people across Nottingham have snapped up our latest deal, recognising that the tram is the most convenient and affordable way to get around the city for just £1 per day.
“We know that these are challenging economic times for everyone, so we are proud to be helping residents get back into the City centre and keep Nottingham moving forward.
“This deal has one more week to go so we urge everyone to make the most. With free use of our car parks also included, drivers should grab this deal, park with NET for no additional cost and then ride into the city on a tram, avoiding traffic and having a quicker, greener, and more affordable journey into the city.”
NET’s adult Annual Season Ticket for the price of £365 is available until midnight on Tuesday 31st January 2023 and is available across all of NET’s ticketing platforms, including the NetGo! app.
