With Nottingham Forest and Leicester City meeting in the FA Cup this weekend in an exciting East Midlands derby, NET are showing football fans their support by offering free travel on shuttle buses to The City Ground.
The popular shuttle bus service between tram stops and the stadium are normally for use by tram ticket holders only, but to support Nottingham Forest and the large number of fans expected at Sunday’s game, the shuttle bus service will be made available for free use by all fans with no tram ticket needed:
- Nottingham Forest fans are encouraged to use the shuttle bus service that runs from outside Nottingham Station tram stop, operating every ten minutes, from two hours before Sunday’s 4pm kick-off.
- Leicester City fans are encouraged to use the Clifton park-and-ride service, where they can board the tram to Nottingham station and then connect onto the free shuttle bus to The City Ground.
- All fans looking to use the tram for any part of their journey on Sunday will need a valid ticket but can take advantage of an ‘Event Ticket’ which offers return travel on the tram for just £2.50 – ‘Event Tickets’ can be purchased from any tram stop ticket machine
