Nottingham’s tram networking is offering customers the chance to beat the winter blues with some great value travel.
Today, the start of the third week of January, is often referred to as Blue Monday but NET hopes to help banish the gloom with savings of up to £50 on its most popular season passes.
As well as saving money on travel, people can help to turn Blue Monday green by switching to one of the most environmentally friendly forms of transport.
Rebekah Smith, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “With no vehicle emissions and a network powered by electricity from renewable sources, the tram offers a great way to reduce your carbon footprint in 2020.
“At the same time, you can enjoy a swift, reliable journey without worrying about finding a parking space or getting stuck in traffic, while our January season ticket sale is sure to raise a smile to beat Blue Monday!”
If purchased in January, an annual pass costs just £475 for adults, compared to £525 at other times.
Until January 31, a three-month adult pass is priced at £145 – a saving of £15 – and there’s also £5 off a one-month adult pass, which normally costs £55.
