With plenty of trams and great ticket deals, Nottingham’s tram network offers the ideal way for families to enjoy a trip into the city over the Easter holiday.
Whether they’re visiting a top attraction, attending a sporting event or just planning a shopping trip, the return of NET’s ever-popular £5 Group Ticket will be welcomed by all.
Usually available at weekends and after 4pm on other days, the offer will run throughout the school holidays, including Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Enabling two adults and up to three children all-day tram travel for just a fiver, the bargain tickets can be purchased at tram stop ticket machines on the day.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET Marketing Manager, commented: “Now that spring is well and truly in the air, the Easter break provides the ideal opportunity to explore our beautiful city.
“There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained, and by taking the tram, customers can enjoy a hassle-free journey at a bargain price.
“What’s more, by taking advantage of over 5,000 free spaces at our seven park and ride sites situated across Nottingham, they can also save on the cost of parking.”
The Group Ticket offer runs from Friday, March 30 to Friday, April 13, and over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend trams will operate to a Sunday timetable on Good Friday (March 30), Easter Sunday (April 1) and Easter Monday (April 2) with services running from every 10 minutes.
A normal Saturday timetable will be in operation on March 31 with trams from every 7 minutes.
