Half-term is almost here, and Nottingham’s tram network is gearing up to help families make the most of the upcoming school break and bank holiday weekend.
Usually only available on weekday evenings and the weekend, NET’s £5 Group Ticket will be available all day on Bank Holiday Monday (May 27) and through the rest of the week, up to and including Friday, May 31.
Offering unlimited tram travel for two adults and up to three children, the special ticket can be purchased at all tram stop ticket machines.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Marketing Manager, said:
“With stops close to many of Nottingham’s top attractions, families can make the most of the extended weekend and school break by using the tram.
“As well as discounted tram travel, NET customers can also save on the cost of parking by using one of over 5,000 free spaces at our seven park and ride sites located across the network.”
On Bank Holiday Monday a Sunday timetable will be in operation across the network, with trams from every 10 minutes.
A full weekday service will resume on Tuesday, May 28, and trams will operate as normal for the rest of the half term week with services from every seven minutes into Nottingham from Hucknall, Phoenix Park, Toton Lane and Clifton South.
