Anyone planning a trip into Nottingham over the Bank Holiday weekend can count on plenty of trams to get them around.
A full Sunday timetable, with trams from every 10 minutes and from every 5 minutes in the city centre, will be in operation on Bank Holiday Monday (May 6) to help NET customers make the most of the May Day break.
Weekend services will also operate as usual and, with plenty of events taking place in the city, the tram offers the ideal way for visitors to avoid busy roads and expensive parking.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “With so many shops, pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions, Nottingham is always busy during holiday periods, and this weekend will be no exception.
“As well as helping city-centre visitors to beat the traffic, they can also save on the cost of parking thanks to thousands of free spaces at our park and ride facilities.
“What’s more, families travelling together can make further savings thanks to our popular Group Ticket, leaving them with a little extra cash to spend on a holiday treat!”
Always a huge hit with customers at weekends and on weekday evenings, the money-saving Group Ticket offers unlimited tram travel for two adults and up to three children – or just two adults – for just a fiver.
