It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas and the city’s tram network is gearing up to help families make the most of the festive fun.
This Friday (November 15) sees the return of the Winter Wonderland to Old Market Square and the switch on of the city’s seasonal lights and, with a stop right next to all the attractions, getting there by tram couldn’t be easier.
Whilst avoiding the traffic and the hassle of finding a parking space, families and can take advantage of NET’s £5 Group Ticket, which offers unlimited tram travel for two adults and up to three children after 4.00pm on weekdays and all day at the weekend.
Available from tram stop ticket machines, the ticket can also be purchased using NET’s new app, NETGO!, which is available to download here.
Rebekah Smith, NET Marketing Manager, explained how travelling by tram would help customers make the most of Nottingham’s festive fun.
“The tram offers a quick and convenient journey to all of Nottingham’s seasonal celebrations and, thanks to our free park and ride facilities tram customers needn’t worry about expensive parking,” she said.
The opening of the Winter Wonderland will see the return of the popular outdoor ice rink and seasonal market alongside many other festive attractions.
