The outstanding care of Nottingham’s nurses and midwives is once again set to be recognised with a special award ceremony, supported by the city’s tram network.
Voting is now open for the annual Nurse and Midwife of the Year Awards and we’re urging our customers to show their support for the outstanding individuals shortlisted for an accolade.
Award judges, including Adrian Wallace, Chief Executive of NET concessionaire Tramlink Nottingham, and representatives from Nottingham University Hospitals Trust and the Nottingham Post, have now drawn up a final shortlist from over 300 nominations.
Four finalists have been chosen in each of the eight categories and you can find out more about them, and how to cast your vote here.
Rebekah Smith, NET Marketing Manager, commented: "We’re incredibly proud to have a long association with these awards that highlight the critical role the city's nurses and midwives play within our community."
The awards also reflect our strong links with NUH and, as in previous years, the tram named after the overall winner will act as a constant reminder of the dedication and professionalism of these unsung heroes.”
Voting for the awards closes on Monday, September 30.
