Take The Tram To See The Panthers In The Play Offs
30 March 2017
Ice Hockey fans can claim discount tram travel to Nottingham Panthers’ big Play Off quarter-finals clash with the Sheffield Steelers this weekend.
With the two major rivals set to meet at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday evening for the first leg of the tie (face-off 7pm), supporters can get to the game on the city’s tram network for just £2 return.
Available to purchase from all tram stop ticket machines, NET’s Event Ticket can be used by all those travelling to and from the game with a valid match ticket.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Assistant Marketing Manager, said: “Our Event Ticket offer has been hugely popular with both Panthers and visiting ice hockey fans over the past few seasons and we’re delighted to confirm it will be available for this weekend’s big game.
“With our Lace Market stop just a short stroll from the Arena, the tram provides the perfect way to beat the city centre traffic and get to the game with ease.”
As well as saving on the cost of travel, fans can also avoid the hassle and expense of parking by using one of over 5,000 free spaces at the tram network’s park & ride sites located across Nottingham.
