Save Money On Summer Tram Travel
24 July 2017
The school holidays are here and Nottingham’s tram network is set to help people make the most of the summer fun with an extended ticket offer.

Usually only available at weekends and after 4pm on weekdays, NET’s £5 Group Ticket will be available all day, every day from Monday 24 July until Tuesday 5 September.

Offering unlimited travel for one or two adults and up to three children, the ticket provides a cheap and convenient way of getting around Nottingham’s major hot spots.

Stephanie Moss-Pearce, Assistant Marketing Manager at NET, explained: “With regular services throughout the day and discounted tickets available all summer long, the tram provides the perfect way to beat the traffic and make the most of the school holidays.”

Amongst a packed schedule of events taking place close to the tram network this summer will be the chance to enjoy a day at the beach in both the city centre and at Beeston.

Stephanie added: “Trams stop right by The Beach in Old Market Square as well as the Beeston-On-Sands attraction, making our network the best way to travel to soak up the sun and enjoy a family day out.

“Customers using the tram can not only make big savings on travel, but also avoid the expense of car parking by using one of over 5,000 free car parking spaces at our seven park & ride sites across Nottingham.

“Hopefully it’ll help leave a little bit extra to spend on ice creams and other summertime treats!”
