Forest fans looking forward to the new football season can enjoy a hassle-free trip to matches thanks to the city’s tram network.
Run in partnership with Skills Coaches, NET’s popular Eventlink service will provide tram ticket holders with a free bus link to the City Ground throughout the 2017/18 season, starting with the visit of Millwall on Friday (4 August).
Operating every ten minutes from two hours before kick-off and up to an hour after full-time, the Skills buses will run from Arkwright Street, just by the tram’s Nottingham Station stop and drop off at Trent Bridge.
The bus is free to use for holders of an NET Event Ticket, NET Group Ticket, NET Season Ticket and concession passes. Non-tram users and other ticket holders can use the bus for £1 each way.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Marketing Manager, explained: “The free Eventlink shuttle bus has been hugely popular over the past few years, and we’re delighted to partner with Skills to bring it back for the new season.”
Pete Hallam, Operations Director at Skills commented: “We are pleased to be working with NET to provide a quick and easy shuttle transport for all football fans to make their match experience more accessible and enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming fans aboard.”
Forest fans will also be able to save on the cost of tram travel by using NET’s Event Ticket. Available from all tram stop ticket machines, it offers holders of a match or season ticket return tram travel for just £2.
Stephanie added: “Coupled with our 7 free park & ride sites, the Event Ticket means that the tram offers great value for money for both Forest and visiting fans making their way to the City Ground.”
