Closure of The Forest Park & Ride site 2008

The Forest Park & Ride site will be closed for the Goose Fair from 18:00 on Friday 26th September and will re-open at 06:00 on Wednesday 8th October. During this period there will be plenty of alternative parking available at Wilkinson Street, just off the ring road.

Alternative Parking Arrangements at Wilkinson Street P&R

Wilkinson Street is between Radford Road and the Ring Road in Basford.

• From Forest P+R:
cross the tramlines, then take the next right onto Radford Road. Turn left onto Wilkinson Street just after the police station.

• From A60 Mansfield Road:
take the Ring Road (west) and turn onto Wilkinson Street just before the A610 (Nuthall Road) junction.

• From A610: turn left at the Ring Road junction,
immediately get into the outside lane and turn right onto Wilkinson Street.

• From B682 Vernon Road:
carry straight on at the Ring Road junction onto Radford Road. Turn right when you see the tramlines onto Wilkinson Street.

• From A611 Hucknall Road:
turn right onto the Ring Road and then turn left onto Radford Road next to McDonalds. Turn right onto Wilkinson Street.

• Ring Road west, Crown Island, QMC etc:
take the Ring Road north to the A610 junction. Get in the far right hand lane and turn right onto Wilkinson Street.
