Nottingham’s FREE annual bonfire night and fireworks display is a great evening out for all the family, with fair ground rides, children fireworks display and a grand fireworks finale! The event will include a road show provided by Trent FM.
Come along and experience the dazzling array of sights and sounds. Soak up the atmosphere and take part in the wonderful tradition that is Bonfire Night.

Councillor Dave Trimble, Nottingham City Council Portfolio Holder for Communities, Leisure and Culture, said: “Bonfire Night events on the Forest site has been a much-loved part of Nottingham’s fireworks celebrations and we’re proud to continue the tradition of providing free firework displays, a major bonfire and activities. We’re looking forward to seeing families and visitors of all ages enjoying what promises to be one of the highlights on the city’s calendar.”
The best way to visit this event is by public transport – to find out more please visit www.thetram.net or www.nctx.co.uk. Please note that the Forest Park and Ride will be closed to the public from 4.30pm until 10.30pm for this event. However, trams will still be stopping at the site and run as normal throughout the evening. Public cars parked on the Forest Park and Ride site before 4.30pm will have access to leave the site throughout the event. There will be plenty of alternative parking is available at Wilkinson Street Park and Ride just off the ring road.
Parking will be available for Blue Badge holders from 5pm onwards at the Forest Park and Ride site.
There will also be ‘No Parking’ restrictions on some of the minor roads in the area and visitors to the Bonfire night event are asked to respect the local residents by not parking inconsiderately or in reserved areas.
