Christmas and New Year Tram Services 2008/9

Over the Christmas and New Year period, there will be some changes to the tram timetable. This leaflet contains details about our services over the festive period.

Summary of Tram Timetable over Christmas and New Year

Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Special Evening Timetable

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, a normal Monday to Friday daytime timetable will be running – with trams every 5-6 minutes between Station Street and David’s Lane and every 10-12 minutes to Hucknall and Phoenix Park.
A special evening timetable will commence at around 19:00, with trams generally every 15 minutes between Station Street and David’s Lane and every 30 minutes to Hucknall and Phoenix Park - see below for full details.

Between David’s Lane and the City Centre and Station Street

• To City Centre and Station Street: Trams will operate a normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:38 then every 15 minutes until 23:53
• From Station Street and City Centre: Trams will operate a normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:40, then 19:45 and every 15 minutes until midnight with the last tram at 00:10. An additional tram will run at 00:12 as far as Shipstone Street only

 

Between Hucknall, Moor Bridge, Bulwell and the City Centre and Station Street

Trams to City Centre and Station Street	Trams from Station Street and City Centre
Trams will operate the normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:22 from Hucknall, then every 30 minutes until 23:22, 23:36. Additional trams from Hucknall at 00:04 and 00:34 will run as far as Wilkinson Street only.	Trams will operate the normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:40 from Station Street, then depart at 20:00 and every 30 minutes until midnight.

 

 

Between Phoenix Park, Cinderhill and the City Centre and Station Street

Trams to City Centre and Station Street	Trams from Station Street and City Centre
Trams will operate the normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:18 from Phoenix Park, then 19:44 and every 30 minutes until 23:44. Additional trams from Phoenix Park at 19:58, 00:12 and 00:37 will run as far as Wilkinson Street only.	Trams will operate the normal Monday to Friday timetable until 19:30 from Station Street, then depart at 19:45 and every 30 minutes until 23:45, then 00:10.

 

 

Boxing Day and New Year’s Day Timetable


On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, a normal Sunday timetable will operate, a summary is shown below.


Between David’s Lane and the City Centre and Station Street

• To City Centre and Station Street: Trams will depart at 07:52, 08:07, 08:18 and every 15 minutes until 10:03 and then every 7/8 minutes until 17:48 and every 15 minutes until 22:48
• From Station Street and City Centre: Trams will depart at 08:00 and every 15 minutes until 10:30 and then every 7/8 minutes until 18:00 and every 15 minutes until 23:00, 23:12. An additional tram will run at 23:09 as far as Shipstone Street only.
